Hello everybody,New Mexico is awsome,it's as if the Lord kisses the sunrise each morning. I grew up here in NM and everyday the sunrise is a blessing to me. right now ,I am needing to be blessed,Please i am calling out to all New Mexicians for some serious Help,I am stranded and very ill.Could someone help me?,I get my disabilty check, now on the first and need to find someone willing to sell me a car on a payment plan.I could make direct deposit payments,so monies would go directly into your bank,from mine,or if there is a mechanic that could work with me in order to repair my van.It is a 1998 Dodge Caravan with transmission/gear box? problems. I have multiple scleriosis along with back injuries etc,etc... am suffuring great deppression and chronic pain.I am getting worse New Mexico,Please someone help me so i can help myself and others.

To those who live in TN, I am so sorry about your problems; however, for 2 weeks I have made every phone call to find help for many of you in TN. No funds from any place my heart breaks for you all. Never have I run into such heart breaking situations. Especially for the single mothers and the senior citizens. All churches are out of funds because many of their people are out of work. I live in Maryland and it is nothing like I have encountered in the south. I will pray thinghs change for all of you.

Need help paying rent thus month. I'm twenty two years old and a sole provider for my fifteen year old sister and have been for the last two years. This month I've falling behind on rent due to a high smud bill. The only source of money we have right now is coming from job. So we are barley surviving. If anyone knows churches, charities or any other information on help with rent we would greatly appreciate.
If there is any one out there still looking for help try looking up local churches in your area online and send an e-mail directly to the pastor. Tell him or her your situation and how many children you have along with your contact information. it is not a guarantee you will receive help but there is a good chance you will. I have already done this my self and am now receiving help for my children. Good luck to you all. Hope you all have a merry Christmas.
Thank You for the info. I also work along with some non-profits, and it is very difficult for them waiting for government grants or state funding. Will pass on info to them. As an employee of one at my second job, my hours have been cut, and this recession hurts so many people.
HELP I need some ones help Iwas laid off in November2009 I have sold just about everything i own my bills have gone as far as they can with out payment . an im still looking for work. I`ve made arangements till the 18th of this month an I cant find any help at this time so I`m looking on this site .please understand how hard it is durring these times . (electric 302.71 plus this months250.17)and myphone bill (116.78) car(374.00) cable (148.38) (car Ins139.53) also Ive got a daughter that is 12 an she is a strait (a) student an shes going to washington DC with the schools patrols thats why my bills haved jumped for 2months she deserves to go she work hard for this trip so im just flutterd she made it I say this theres alot in need today.i`ve done yardwork.picked up cans on the side of the road.Not once was I ashame to be seen out there AS cars went buy Iwould wave back ,people made fun off me threw things at me ,cusing. yelling get ajob. ATLANTA (AP) — For more than a decade, Angel Food Ministries seemed like a godsend for families who purchased its low-cost food boxes and the churches that shared millions in revenue for distributing the goods.
It became an economic juggernaut in the faith community, employing hundreds, feeding thousands a month and pouring $19 million into its network of more than 5,000 host churches in 35 states.
Now, a lawsuit coupled with an FBI raid at the group's headquarters has raised accusations of financial mismanagement at the nonprofit. The raid and ensuing FBI investigation have left congregations and church leaders weighing whether to cut their ties to the high-profile charity after the reported disclosure that six-figure salaries were paid to its founders.
"We get signed up and I start hearing this," said the Rev. Chad Massey, whose Unadilla First Baptist Church in central Georgia planned to place its first Angel Food order this month. "It's kind of hard to know what to do."
FBI officials haven't disclosed the nature of the investigation surrounding the ministry.
Angel Food has acknowledged that a grand jury investigation is looking into what it called "alleged financial irregularities" involving unspecified individuals — but not the ministry itself.
Meanwhile, lawsuits filed by Angel Food Ministries board members and former employees accuse Angel Food leadership of using the non-denominational nonprofit as a moneymaking venture.
The Rev. Joseph Wingo and wife Linda founded the ministry in 1994 to help 34 families hurt by plant closings in the manufacturing town of Monroe, about 45 miles east of Atlanta.
Since then, Angel Food Ministries has grown to hundreds of workers supplying food for anti-poverty programs at more than 5,000 churches spanning several denominations. There are 473 distribution centers listed in Georgia and more than 1,400 concentrated in Texas, Missouri, Tennessee and Pennsylvania.
All told, the ministry says it serves more than 500,000 families a month. It has no plans to interrupt food delivery.
